Its’ been a rough week. A week ago today I returned from California to a very sick dog. For the last three weeks Charlie has not been himself. For the first week and a half it was incontinence, and just when we thought that was all cleared up he started vomiting. After three trips to the vet, including an overnight stay to be hooked up to an IV, he appears to be doing much better and this morning was even begging for more food after we fed him. Poor little guy lost a lot of weight in the last two weeks, so we are happy to feed him, we just do it in small doses and often so we can ensure that it isn’t coming out the way it went in.

While I was down in California, though, I headed to Turlock to see my sister’s new house and the school where she is getting her Masters. We had a great little walk about on a very foggy and deserted CSU Stanislaus campus. Here are a few of my faves from that morning.
