I met Matt back at photography school when I first immigrated to Canada. We used to carpool together, so it wasn’t soon after we met that I started hearing about Maia. Jump ahead a handful of years and these two finally got married. I only say finally, because this was, in fact, what their cake topper said. It was a perfect day out in Metchosin and Sooke, with lots of smiles laughter and a couple or blisters from hiking in dress shoes; at one point the entire bridal party was barefoot. It was also a real pleasure to shoot out at Glenrosa Farm, as I have long admired the little yellow house on the hill on the way out to East Sooke Park.
