I made it up to Campbell River for A + E’s amazing helicopter elopement. This was, hands down, the coolest (and one of the coldest) elopements I have photographed. I haven’t been in a helicopter since I was about 10 years old – during a big family holiday in Hawaii – so I was extra excited about this elopement. If Covid cancels your wedding and rescheduling is becoming a nightmare, I highly recommend just saying “f*ck it, let’s elopement, take me up to the mountain top!” 49 North Helicopters, in Campbell River, had amazing service, picked us right up from Dolphin’s Resort and were able to make all the necessary adjustments on the fly as the weather changed.
