Anyone who has planned a wedding knows that they can take on a life of their own. You spend too much time on Pinterest and before you know it you are DIY-ing more than you ever have in your life. One solution to this is to have a short engagement. Enter Amy and Glen, who got in touch with me just a few weeks ago about their upcoming wedding in August. Their entire engagement will come in right around 5 months and I am very excited for their wedding at Sea Cider. Weddings can be as simple as one in love couple + family + friends + food (+ a photographer). This isn’t to say there is anything wrong with long engagements – they just may not be for everyone.
