Where has the time gone? Just over two weeks ago was the Exhibit A opening! It was pretty exciting to see so many people come out and support us. It was a great opening complete with some live music by the talented Aleisha Kalina. With so many diversely talented people participating in this show, it is hard to say whose piece was my favourite. I guess my top five would be Lana’s shot of an operation, Laura’s infared tree, Andrea’s Imogen Manontoya, Ryan’s portrait of who I assume is her grandmother and Jenna’s portrait of Lana. I also liked mine a whole lot, but think it’s egotistical to include them in that list. Anyway, none of my pieces sold (sigh!) but they are still for sale if you, or someone you know is interested! They are $350 each, plus s&h. And now onto some photos:

I really didn’t take that many photos at the opening. I was too busy being the “chatty bar tender” and just saying hello to all the wonderful people who showed up to support us all.So, I did take a few photos when I was “gallery sitting.” Sadly next weeks Light Sensitive Show put on by the students at the Western Academy of Photography will be the last show in this space as the CAC is losing it’s lease. Two of my pieces, the third I forgot to take a photo of. Oops.
