The  Monumento Nazionale a Vittorio Emanuele II  in Rome is one of my favorites. And this shot is one of my favorites that I took on my Holga while in Italy in 2008. I was there for a friends wedding and seeing this monument always gave me a sense of direction and I could find my bearings in the city. I also knew how to get to a good gelato place from there, which was key to staying cool in the city.
