As I reflect back on year two of this pandemic I must say it was a hell of a lot better than year one. I am thankful that I was able to document so many weddings – many of them now outside and scaled down, but still a wonderful gathering of family and friends.
2021 was also the year of babies! I photographed a record number of expectant mothers and brand new humans. Truly this was a highlight, I just wished I got to snuggle them all. I also was able to catch up with a number of couples and families from previous years and this is really one of my favorite parts of my job. I really do love seeing previous wedding clients become parents and welcome new additions to their families. And I am always flattered when I get to catch up with families year after year.
So much of what I post on my website and social media is weddings and families, but I also spent a lot of time photographing individuals this year. I had an ongoing contract with Royal Beach that I finished up at the beginning of 2021 and I photographed a ton of individuals for an organization that I essentially signed an NDA with. I would love to do more branding work, so here is a quick look at a few shoots I am able to share photos from.
As the year started to come to a close I got a head start on engagement sessions with some of the lovely couples I will be photographing again in 2022.
And, lastly dogs! Becuase I love them and I photographed a bunch of them.
