Lauren and Burke came out from Alberta to get married. I suspect they were hoping for some milder weather, but ended up in BC on one of the coldest, snowiest stretches Vancouver Island has experiences since the “Blizzard of ’96,” which  people still tell tall tales about. Thankfully these two are from Alberta so where immune from cold and had an amazing wedding inside the Spring Prelude at Butchart Gardens. Even with the snow the park was stunning, and it was a pleasure to get to spend the day with everyone. The whole wedding party got ready at the always beautiful Brentwood Bay Resort and I was delighted to see so many cute kids running around, even if none of them where the least bit amused by my kitty cat ears I donned for the family photos.
